The new Magic: The Gathering block is coming in October 2010, when Shards of Alara rotates out of Standard. The set, codenamed "Light" is revealed to be Scars of Mirrodin. The logo and expansion symbol are known.There will be 249 cards, including lands. The release date is October 1st, 2010.
It's good to see that Wizards are re-visiting old planes like Mirrodin. It was an outstanding plane, making the Artifacts stronger than ever. I just hope they will be re-visiting good old planes in the future. Can't wait for this one.
